4x9 Gate Fold Wedding Invitation: Scored twice and ready to fold. The invitation is termed as a “gate fold” because it opens and closes like a gate. The closure can be centered or off centered. “Scoring paper” is a way of preparing a sheet of paper so that it folds cleanly. A crease-line is embossed or pressed into the paper at the folding point. This allows for the paper to fold easily without cracking or shifting. On average you can fit 6-10 total images. “In the printing industry, the term gate fold or gatefold means a document folding method that uses two parallel folds to create six panels; the left and right panels are half the width of the center panels and fold inward to meet in the middle without overlapping.” -wikipedia
