One of the most notable mountain ranges in Utah is the Wasatch Range, which runs north to south along the western edge of the state. This range is home to some of Utah's most famous ski resorts, including Park City, Deer Valley, and Snowbird. With rugged peaks, deep valleys, and abundant snowfall in the winter, the Wasatch Mountains attract skiers, snowboarders, hikers, and mountain bikers year-round. The proximity of these mountains to Salt Lake City makes outdoor recreation easily accessible to residents and visitors alike.
